Dear friends of Hofburg Vienna,

The restrictions on personal contact caused by the pandemic have clearly demonstrated just how important face-to-face contact is in the event industry. After all, it’s difficult to digitalise emotions. However, a number of opportunities have presented themselves: Comprehensive event safety measures, a combination of live events with options for digital interactions and the establishment of hybrid events has given rise to a host of new event formats at the Hofburg Vienna.

The fact the customers can’t wait for in-person events to return is reflected in the bookings for 2021 and beyond. We expect – pandemic permitting – this autumn to be a busy season for events. Precisely defined Covid-19 safety regulations and hygiene measures have long since established themselves in the world of events and our tailored prevention plan, combined with a range of custom solutions, means that we are optimistic as we look ahead to an autumn season of safe meetings and conferences.
